NASA imagery shows Hurricanes Polo and Nolo together

The EPIC camera aboard NOAA’s DSCOVR satellite acquired the image on September 27, 2026. By September 28, the region had recorded 20 named storms, including nine hurricanes, compared with 13.5 named storms and 7.4 hurricanes in the 1991–2020 average.
